Hilary's Twist on Cancer: Cancer changes you. It makes you stronger, more empathetic, appreciative and self confident. I will never be the same person I was before Cancer, but now I am a better one.

Ashley's Artist Statement:

Everything can look different if you dive deep enough. A second glance, a more involved perspective. We each bring our whole lives into calculating what we are witnessing in that very moment. While connecting with Hillary she spoke of being viewed as so brave and strong, yet on the inside it felt like chaos. That resonates so deeply with me that immediately these images started popping into place. There is an entire chaotic mess behind most anything great. It’s truly the guts of life’s masterpiece. This painting is loaded with snippets of Hillary’s journey. Look closer for the Lotus flower, blue, purple, red taking on a spiritual meaning of ascension, enlightenment or rebirth. Standing further away the bold colorful blooms could feel like the aftermath of a bombs explosion, or step to the side and more playfully mounds of frosting could be plopping from the top. Only the viewer could feel what this image truly means. Like it’s inspiration, ‘Capable’ is bold, loving, brave, colorful and adventurous. 

Made out of 100% jersey-knit polyester, these beanies will fit any baby up to 6 months old. Care Instructions: Machine wash warm, tumble dry low, with no bleach additives. Beanies need to be washed separately and fabric softener should not be used to prevent fabric pilling.
